Conference Nietzsche and the Germans

Concluding the BA3/MA course ‘Nietzsche and the Germans’ by dr. Martine Prange, on Nietzsche’s criticism and influence on German culture and philosophy, all participants will present their papers during a two day conference on 18 and 19 December. Both days will be closed with a lecture.

Tuesday 18 December, 16:00
Prof. dr. Paul van Tongeren: ’Nietzsche, Kant, Friendship and Nihilism’

Wednesday 19 December, 16:00
Dr. Vincent Blok: ‘Beyond Nihilism. Ernst Jünger’s Encounter with Nietzsche’

The conference will take place at café-restaurant De Grote Beer, Rembrandtstraat 27, Leiden. The entrance is free and everybody is welcome to join at any moment. Refreshments will be provided.
